Google AdSense is another advertising program apart of the Google Advertising platform that was launched in 2003. In this particular Google advertising program, the parent company acts as an intermediary between a vast number of advertisers (generic companies) and an equally impressive number of website operators or owners. Advertisers (any company or organization selling a product or service) can sign up with Google and create text advertisements that they would like to be displayed on Google’s results pages—the pages of searches that people conduct from accessing Google.com.

The Google AdSense program will then allow these advertisements to show up on pages throughout the Internet. This particular Google advertising program will incorporate algorithms to establish relevancy; the relevancy of advertisements placed by AdSense varies on all sorts of criteria and the majority of ads are relevant to the page on which the advertisement is displayed.
